Assembly Member Carter Recognized for Commitment to Small Business PDF Print E-mail

District 62 Assembly Member Wilmer Amina Carter was among the top-ranked state lawmakers to be recognized in 2009 by the California Small Business Association for her dedication to issues of most importance to small business.

Priority issues for the California Small Business Association in 2009 included access to capital for small businesses, comprehensive budget reform, fair and equal tax policies, state and local procurement and affordable technology services and education.

"Small businesses play a vital role in the ever-growing California economy and particularly in the 62nd District," said Assembly Member Carter, who is the owner of a small business in Rialto. "When small businesses succeed, the whole community benefits."
